Another one of the more common type of cosmetic surgery is indulged mainly by women wanting to improve the shape of the breast with a lift or simply wanting to make them a bit bigger with silicone implants. This surgery also helps reshape sagging breasts. The anchor scar pattern is the commonly used surgical technique in this surgery. There are other methods called the doughnut lift.

The risks of fatality involved in a cosmetic surgery are quite low, as this surgery is generally performed on otherwise healthy men and women. An incorrectly performed cosmetic procedure can result in a life long scar and unhappiness, leading to further corrective surgery. It could even mean death in some cases, due to inherent problems within a patient
